Mark your calendar to attend next year's Rondy — December 2007

Spectators are requested to not bring their pets
as it is a distraction to the sled dogs.

Race Location

The start and finish line of the race is located right at the U.S. Forest boundary on U.S. Hwy 352, "the Cora Road", just west of Pinedale. Plenty of parking is available. You may park in the lot at the U.S. Forest boundary, or ride our free shuttle from Pinedale!

Free Shuttles,
sponsored by James Thomas of High Mountain Real Estate

Free shuttles for the 2006 Rondy left from the Rendezvous Pointe parking lot every 45 minutes beginning at 7:30 am on
Saturday and 8:30 am on Sunday. (Rendezvous Pointe is located behind Faler's General Store on Magnolia Street at the east end of town.) Folks came and went as they liked, and there was a heated hospitality tent and refreshments adjacent to the starting line.

Restrooms were located in the parking lot area.

Race Start Times

Races began at 8:30 each morning, with race action continuing until about 12:30 pm. Come feel the eagerness as dogs are harnessed and charge up the course; the 6 dog class will have dual starts which promise to be very exciting, and the 12 dog teams head right up the steep hill to the east of the start line!

Nearest gas, lodging and other services can be obtained in Pinedale, 31 miles from the race site. Lodging and food are available nearby at Green River Guest Ranch/The Place and Elk Ridge Lodge, or in Pinedale. See Area Information below.

And, don't miss the Charity Calcutta Friday evening at Bottoms Up Brewery in Pinedale — see the Charity Calcutta page for more details.
